Josh Funk – Introduction
Hello world. This is my first blog post for this site. I will be writing from time to time about music, the recording process, video production, and illustration.
A little about myself: My name is Josh Funk and I am a singer/songwriter from Chico, CA and have played in numerous bands over the years (Johnny Q, Spencer, Isabell, The Farewell Letter) and have released four studio albums under my own name. These albums are “The Outlet Disadvantage” [2000], “A Jukebox Envy” [2004], “The Face You Show Your Enemies” [2007], and most recently “Everything In Temporary” [2010].
Aside from music, I am an illustrator and graphic designer. I am co-owner and founder of Code Nine Design LLC (codeninedesign.com) and most recently finished an instructional magic Graphic Novel called Sinful for magician/illusionist, Wayne Houchin (http://waynehouchin.com).
